Questions people ask
Why do you need my birth time?
It sets the ascendant and all twelve houses — half of the chart. In four minutes the sky turns a full degree; in an hour the ascendant moves half a sign. Without the time the planets and signs stay correct (except the fast-moving Moon — see the next question), but the houses become approximate.
What if I don't know the exact time?
Tick «I don't know my birth time» — we cast the chart for noon and say plainly that the ascendant and houses are approximate. The planets, signs and aspects are still exact, with one honest exception: the Moon crosses a sign faster than anything else, and if she changed sign on your day, we say so in the reading instead of pretending it is settled. If the time turns up later, the chart can be rebuilt and you won't pay twice.
How is this different from a star-sign horoscope?
A star sign is the Sun alone — one point out of eighteen. A natal chart shows them all: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the rest, each in its own sign and house, plus the links between them. That's why two Aries turn out completely different.
